Eight Seconds or Less is a martial arts blog that focuses on self-protection, martial arts history, concepts and techniques, MMA, Jiu-Jitsu, as well as other miscellaneous martial arts related topics.

This blog is called Eight Seconds or Less because most self-protection scenarios last about eight seconds or less. A lot of things can happen in that very short time, and whether we're prepared for that possibility can make all the difference. I am a student of the martial arts, continually seeking to increase my knowledge and expand my understanding of the arts.
